At Friends of Sugar, we believe that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Through fundraising, volunteering, creative projects, and community events, we've been proud to support animals in need and the organizations working to help them.

Miami-Dade Animal Services

We volunteered with Miami-Dade Animal Services, where we created drawings of adoptable animals and wrote descriptions highlighting each animal’s unique personality. The drawings were displayed throughout the facility to help spread awareness and encourage visitors to learn more about the dogs waiting for their forever homes.

We organized a donation drive through our school and collected much-needed supplies, which we hand delivered to Miami-Dade Animal Services.

We also delivered our hand made Friends of Sugar bandanas for the rescue dogs in hopes of catching the eyes of potential adopters!

ARF Hamptons

We created drawings of adorable adoptable dogs to help bring attention to animals in need. Our artwork was featured on ARF Hamptons Instagram, helping spread awareness of these wonderful dogs and the importance of finding them loving homes.

We also sent Friends of Sugar handmade bandanas to ARF in hopes that they would help catch potential adopters’ attention and shine an even brighter spotlight on these deserving pups. We were so honored to see the bandanas being worn by the dogs at the annual ARF Hamptons fundraising gala!

Picolini’s Animal Rescue

We sold our handmade dog bandanas at the Coconut Grove Slingshot Marketplace, with all proceeds benefiting Picolini’s Animal Rescue.

Humane Society of Greater Miami

We sold our handmade dog bandanas at the Coconut Grove Gifford Lane Art Walk, with all proceeds benefiting the Humane Society of Greater Miami.

True North Rescue

We sent True North Rescue our hand made bandanas to spread love to rescue animals who were adopted and currently being fostered and waiting for their forever homes!

Muddy Paws Rescue

We were honored to send Muddy Paws Rescue some handmade bandanas for their rescue dogs waiting for their forever homes, in hopes they would catch a potential adopter’s eyes! :) 

Labelle Foundation

We were so happy to work with the LaBelle Foundation and send our handmade Friends of Sugar bandanas to rescue dogs waiting to find their forever homes. We hope our bandanas helped these deserving pups feel extra special while bringing a little more attention to their journey toward adoption.
